(WSCR) If one thing is certain, Bears general manager Phil Emery isn’t overlooking anyone as he searches for Lovie Smith’s replacement.
In fact, according to a report, the team will sit down with Bears Hall of Fame linebacker Mike Singletary to see if he has what it takes to lead the team he won a Super Bowl with.
Dan Pompei of the Chicago Tribune reports the decision to interview Singletary could have come at the request of ownership.
Singletary previously coached the 49ers to a record of 18-22 over parts of three seasons. He is currently the linebackers coach and special assistant to head coach Leslie Frasier of the Vikings
